Highway to Help 5K is a powerful avenue for making a positive impact on the people we serve. This annual fundraising event is designed to support various programs and other vital missions we offer. Wheels for Warriors is a year round mission (given we have a vehicle to give) focused on providing reliable transportation to Veterans. Through vehicle donations, meticulous inspections, and collaboration with experts, we aim to eliminate transportation barriers. This program directly impacts the lives of service-members and their families, offering freedom and mobility. Since 2022, Bill's Wish has been subsidizing inpatient treatment costs for active duty service members, Veterans, and their families grappling with chemical dependency issues. Additionally, we established the first and only Veteran Patient Aid Fund at Hazelden Betty Ford in Minnesota. Our mission is twofold: to close the gap to successful rehabilitation with Veterans and to shed light on the pressing reality of chemical dependency. Receiving the best quality treatment is possible. Bill’s Wish, in partnership with Kowitz Law, has been instrumental in establishing Veterans' Court in the 10th Judicial District and offers free legal representation to participants.
